Really? These are the 100 books of the decade?
The Times has just published it's list of the top 100 books of the decade.Although I consider myself to be quite well read I can only own up to having read 6 of the top 100 (although all the ones I have read were in the top 30). However out of those six, one was the 9/11 Commission Report which I read in PDF form and one was The Da Vinci Code which EVERYBODY was reading at one point.
Is this a damning indictment of my commitment to reading, or more a statement about the choice of the Times literary editors?
(Be warned the actual article is 17 pages long and has something like 5 or 6 books on each page. It is incredibly infuriating to read.)
How many can you lay claim to?
